We’ve had a few requests as of late for giveaways that are open to readers other than US residents, so today we’re doing just that. Our benevolent corporate overlords in the Future UK office are running a survey about smartphone usage, and they’ve asked to get feedback specifically from AnandTech UK readers. In return, everyone who completes the survey will be entered to win a £250 Amazon gift card.
Overall, the survey covers several facets of smartphone usage, ranging from brands and upgrade frequency to familiarity with 5G. Our corporate offices are particularly interested in impressions and usage of 5G – how our UK readers are using it so far, and what (if anything) they see it as significantly improving the experience for.
This survey should take no more than five minutes to complete. And as a thank you for taking part, you’ll be automatically entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Amazon voucher.
If you want to be in with a shot of winning the prize as well as sharing your opinion on the future of smartphones in the workplace, make sure you take part today before the survey closes on October 14th. Good luck!

In fairness, a good roast beef with potatoes and mixed veg can be very nice this time of year.AdditionalPylons - Friday, September 27, 2019 - link
Fantastic! I'm not from the UK either but I very much appreciate the initiative!abufrejoval - Friday, September 27, 2019 - link
Hey, I am in the UK this week (Edinburgh): Do I qualify?Actually, I guess the far more interesting question here: Will Edinburgh remain in the EU, whilst the UK leaves?
I meet so many EU citizens here all day and just the fact that nobody can plan a future is waste-gating a third of their brain power...

"Hey, I am in the UK this week (Edinburgh): Do I qualify?"As I've been explicitly asked to make sure everyone is aware that it's only open to UK residents, no, sorry, you would not qualify. But I appreciate the effort!

I wouldn't normally do a survey... but to encourage international competitions on AnandTech I shall.B3an - Friday, September 27, 2019 - link
Shame you sold out to scum like Future... Never forget Driv3rgate or the many other shitty things they've done.DanNeely - Friday, September 27, 2019 - link
Noone at Anandtech had any control over the sale. Anand sold to Purch (I suspect this was a delayed requirement of his joining Apple) in 2014. Future bought Purch 4 years later.Ryan Smith - Friday, September 27, 2019 - link
"I suspect this was a delayed requirement of his joining Apple"To be sure, it wasn't a requirement (AFAIK). However it was never going to be tenable having AT owned by an Apple employee. Besides any concerns about bias, AT needed the full attention of its owner, as well as a larger sales/revenue team that could help us attract smartphone makers and further diversify our revenue.
