Resolving Fine Lines

For our resolution test, we reset the camera to its default settings and then recorded the image in the highest quality JPG mode with +0.7 EV applied. Manual WB was used. In both the horizontal and vertical crops above, the S60 retains its line clarity out to about the 13 mark. While the vertical crop shows just a bit better performance, both move to extinction by 15. In short, the S60 showed impressive resolution performance in our test.
